Overnight is Wednesday!

Wednesday  is our optional overnight for 5th grade and older girls.  Wondering what to pack?

The girls from the blue unit who are backpacking have their own special packing list that you should have received yesterday.

For everyone else, here is your packing list:

  1. Sleeping Bag or Bedroll
  2. Flashlight
  3. Change of Clothes
  4. Pajamas
  5. Toothbrush and toothpaste
  6. Washcloth and hand towel
  7. Soap

Please pack in duffle bags or backpacks.  Putting the sleeping bag in a plastic grabage bag with camper’s name on tape oustide helps to keep them dry.

We Are Ready, How About You?

Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel, a sack lunch, and a single serving of fruit to share on MONDAY!

What should be in your backpack?

  • water bottle or cup with a string
  • mess kit OR a non-breakable plate, cup, fork and spoon
  • mesh bag with a drawstring to hang dishes on a line
  • something to sit on (sit upon or bleacher cushion—chairs are too heavy to carry around)
  • hat or bandana
  • a rain coat or poncho  (small emergency rain poncho from K-Mart or Target is just $1)
  • bug spray(non-aerosol)
  • sunblock

Please mark each item with your camper’s name!!

Bus Information:

We have three buses.  One bus starts at NorthPark Mall by Sears, and two will start out at Hobby Lobby.  We will fill one of the Hobby Lobby buses half-full, and then send to to Northpark Mall.  On your confirmation email, you were sent which bus #1 or #2 you were assigned.

Our buses and adult volunteers do not arrive any earlier than 8:00am with a departure for camp at 8:20am.  If you are arriving by personal vehicle directly to camp, please arrive by 9:00am.

Camp ends at 3:30pm with buses arriving back at NorthPark Mall and Hobby Lobby around 4:00pm.
