Today is the start of the weeklong Conestoga Day Camp. The planning team starts planning this week all year long! Watching the girls go from the Pixie Unit through Daisy/Brownie, Juniors, Cadettes (the blue units), and finally become Program Aides (PAs) – is such a rewarding experience. This year, both my daughters are adult leaders at Day Camp — one started as a Pixie (our day care unit for children of adult leaders) at three years old, while the other attended her first year of camp just after kindergarten. Many fond memories and lifelong friendships are created at Conestoga Day Camp.

This camp teaches so many outdoor skills that are honed throughout their years at camp. We always have age-appropriate skills for them to learn.

Do you recognize anyone in this picture? You may see a few who have just graduated from high school and will start college this fall. Where does the time go?
