If you are signed up for staying overnight on Thursday, here is your packing list:

On the morning of the overnight, send the following:

• sleeping bag or bedroll
• flashlight
• change of clothes
• pajamas
• toothbrush and toothpaste
• washcloth and hand towel, soap.

Please pack in duffel bags or backpacks. Putting the sleeping bag in a plastic garbage bag with camper’s name and grade/unit on tape outside helps to keeps them dry.

Overnight is for 5th grade and older. It is too late to add this for this year. Be sure to sign up at registration next year!

Don’t forget your swimsuit, towel, and a sack lunch today!

Make sure you have your sunscreen, bug spray, sit-upon, and rain gear in your backpack. Tomorrow you will need your mess kit, but it is certainly fine to bring it today!

The Conestoga Day Camp Volunteers have been anticipating this week all year. It’s finally here!

It’s going to be a great week at camp!

PA training registration for March 30th with Puzzles, Rolo, and Rainbow will open back up with 8 more slots tomorrow. Get your untrained 7th grade Conestoga Day Campers registered!!! No PA training means working as a Pixie Chick for the year.

Our camp dates are dictated by the use of the camp.  Resident camp starts the following week so postponement won’t be an option.  We will figure out exactly what to do once the school districts figures out what they are doing.  As far as registration, it is better to register and save your Girl Scout’s spot.  We will either refund the deposit if your daughter can’t attend (as soon as you let us know) or will pro-rate the fee if we have to shorten camp by a day or two (or go on into Saturday – so many options, none of them overly desirable).  Unfortunately, day camp registration is happening too early given our weather.  

With another expected snowstorm, it seems like Conestoga Day Camp is so far away. Well, we will be opening registration at 12:00am on January 31st already!

Camp fills very fast, so don’t wait too long. Last year, it filled the first day; but we were able to add volunteers and add more room for girls. We are now out of space to expand anymore!

We do take waiting lists, so register to be placed on the waiting list. Registering this far in advance always has some cancellations so make sure you’re on the list.

PAs and Adult Volunteers are always needed.
