We have a few spots left for Cadettes, but our Daisy/Brownie and Junior Units are full. We have waiting lists started for those. If any openings occur, we process from the waiting list to fill the spots. We currently have four on the Daisy/Brownie wait list and nine on the Junior wait list.

Here are some of the changes you will find to our registration process.

• We will be using Cheddar Up for our Registration process.
• You can select the bus you want to ride — Old Hobby Lobby #1 or #2 or Northwest Bank Towers #1 or #2.
• Virtual Program Credit that will be received after this year’s Cookie Sale will have to be saved for next year’s day camp or be used on other Girl Scout Council or Service Unit events.
• Waiting lists will be handled earlier because we won’t be waiting for people to pay with VPC in April.
• A $25 deposit holds your spot, but the balance must be paid within two weeks or registration.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, 1/23/24 @ 6:00 a.m. when registration for Earth, Wind, and Fire Opens! The dates of camp this year are June 10th-14th. Registration usually fills on the first day before noon, so be early so you don’t miss out.

Today is the start of the weeklong Conestoga Day Camp. The planning team starts planning this week all year long! Watching the girls go from the Pixie Unit through Daisy/Brownie, Juniors, Cadettes (the blue units), and finally become Program Aides (PAs) – is such a rewarding experience. This year, both my daughters are adult leaders at Day Camp — one started as a Pixie (our day care unit for children of adult leaders) at three years old, while the other attended her first year of camp just after kindergarten. Many fond memories and lifelong friendships are created at Conestoga Day Camp.

This camp teaches so many outdoor skills that are honed throughout their years at camp. We always have age-appropriate skills for them to learn.

Do you recognize anyone in this picture? You may see a few who have just graduated from high school and will start college this fall. Where does the time go?

Virtual Program Credit (VPC) has been released! You should already have received, or will be receiving shortly, an email from Council with the amount of VPC earned from the cookie sales. You can use VPC to pay your Conestoga Day Camp balance!

Simply forward your Virtual Program Credit account number and CCV to lwalljasper@gmail.com and indicate the amount to be applied to your balance. Your VPC will be applied toward your balance and an updated PayPal invoice will be sent.
