If you are signed up for staying overnight on Thursday, here is your packing list:

On the morning of the overnight, send the following:

• sleeping bag or bedroll
• flashlight
• change of clothes
• pajamas
• toothbrush and toothpaste
• washcloth and hand towel, soap.

Please pack in duffel bags or backpacks. Putting the sleeping bag in a plastic garbage bag with camper’s name and grade/unit on tape outside helps to keeps them dry.

Overnight is for 5th grade and older. It is too late to add this for this year. Be sure to sign up at registration next year!

Our own first-aider, Toad, has written an information sheet about how to prepare for the forecasted hot weather next week. You can find it in your email. Our units are outdoors, but they are in shaded areas. We only swim on Monday, but there is plenty of opportunity for cool water fun throughout the day, along with drinking lots of ice-cold water pumped from our bubbler! I know I like to tie a bandana around my neck and keep it soaked with cold water.

We are almost ready to send out our information emails with unit information, bus information, and everything you need to know to be ready for the first day of camp! The planning team has been busy with some great activities for camp this year. I can’t wait!

As you get your information emails, be sure to make sure they are “addressed” to your camper. I have found a few places where the adult name was entered instead of the girl. Oooops! That happens to all of us — me included!

I am waiting to send out final payment reminders again once the Cookie VPC has been issued. At that time, the payment reminders (and nagging) will come daily!

A $25 deposit is due within one week of your registration. That time has come for those who registered on our first day.

If you paid the $25 deposit, I am in the process of going in and manually changing due dates for when the balance is due on April 15th. We will adjust that date if you are waiting on VPC from this year’s Cookie Sale. We monitor when GS releases the VPC.

If you want to only pay the deposit and your invoice won’t allow you to pay Partial Payment, contact me at lwalljasper@gmail and indicate the girl’s name and invoice number, and I’ll set the invoice up for partial payment.

If you do not pay the initial deposit by your due date, you will be contacted to arrange payment. We have a waiting list at all levels, so an unpaid deposit will free up a spot for a girl on the waiting list. You WILL be contacted via email and phone before I take open the camper spot due to non-payment of the $25 deposit.

All of our units are full and we have started waitlists. Get on the waiting list (link on the Registration Page). We will contact those from the waiting list as openings may appear.
